Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong expertise in Workday testing to support HR, finance, and enterprise integrations for an automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience validating Workday modules, integrations, and end-to-end business workflows in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for Workday implementations and enhancements.
- Validate key Workday modules, including:
- Human Capital Management (HCM)
- Payroll
- Time Tracking
- Absence Management
- Test Workday integrations
- Perform API, web services (SOAP/REST), and middleware testing for integrations.
- Design and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Support SIT, UAT, and post-production validation activities.
- Identify, log, and track defects using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar ALM tools (JIRA, HP ALM).
- Collaborate with business analysts, HR/finance stakeholders, and developers to clarify requirements and ensure quality delivery.
- Participate in release cycles, change requests, and production support.

Required Skills & Experience





- 5–7 years of experience in software testing with focus on Workday applications.
- Solid expertise in Workday functional testing across HCM and related modules.
- Hands-on experience in End-to-end business process validation
- Experience with data validation and reconciliation between Workday and external systems.
- Knowledge of Workday business processes, workflows, and security roles.
- Experience in API/Web Services testing (SOAP/REST).
- Hands-on experience with ADO or equivalent ALM tools.
- Strong understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Oil & Gas or large enterprise environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

- Experience with automation tools for Workday testing
- Understanding of compliance and data privacy (GDPR, payroll regulations, etc.)
