Role Description The Commercial Card Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for managing and growing commercial card relationships with corporate and business clients. Day-to-day activities include identifying prospective clients, explaining commercial card products, preparing proposals, and supporting onboarding and activation. The role involves monitoring portfolio performance, handling client queries, coordinating issue resolution, and ensuring high standards of customer service.

Officer will collaborate with internal teams for credit assessment, compliance, and operations, and will provide product training and guidance to clients to encourage effective usage and drive transaction volumes. The role requires maintaining accurate records,



adhering to internal policies and regulatory guidelines, and contributing to sales targets and overall business growth.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid commercial and business understanding, with the ability to interpret client needs and align them with appropriate card solutions.

Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including transparent verbal and written communication and the ability to present information to diverse stakeholders.

Candidates should possess customer service skills, including relationship management, responsiveness, and a focus on delivering a high-quality client experience.

Candidates should possess training capabilities, including explaining product features, demonstrating usage, and conducting client or internal training sessions.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.

Prior experience in banking, cards, or financial services, especially in corporate or commercial segments, is an advantage.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with MS Office and basic data analysis tools are beneficial.

Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven setting and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
