About the role Peryx.ai is building a renewable energy intelligence platform for solar, wind and energy storage assets. We're looking for a hands-on Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to build and manage the AWS infrastructure behind our platform. You'll work directly with the engineering team across deployments, automation, monitoring, security and production operations.

This is a build-and-own role and not just maintaining pipelines or infrastructure tickets. What you'll work on - Build and manage infrastructure on AWS

- Deploy containerised backend services using Docker
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform
- Set up and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Manage VPCs, networking, IAM, DNS, TLS and secrets
- Deploy and operate databases, caching and storage services
- Support infrastructure for MQTT, IoT data ingestion and streaming
- Set up monitoring, logging and alerting
- Handle backups and basic disaster recovery
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
- Improve reliability, security, scalability and AWS costs What we're looking for - 2–4 years of hands-on AWS / DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure experience
- Good understanding of AWS architecture and core services
- Practical experience with Docker and Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD
- Comfortable with Linux, networking, VPCs,



DNS and TLS
- Working knowledge of IAM and cloud security
- Experience with databases and cloud storage
- Basic scripting in Python or Bash
- Able to independently troubleshoot production issues
- Comfortable taking a requirement and implementing it end to end Good to have Experience with some of these is useful, but we don't expect you to know all of them: ECS/Fargate · PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB · Redis · MQTT · Kafka/MSK · GitHub Actions · CloudWatch · OpenTelemetry · Prometheus · Grafana Experience with IoT, SCADA or renewable energy systems is a bonus, but not required. AI tools will be provided by us. What matters is that you understand, validate and take responsibility for what you ship.
