Job Title: Cloud Architecture & Governance Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architecture & Governance Lead to drive end-to-end cloud transformation, technical governance, DevSecOps adoption, platform security, and FinOps optimization. In this role, you will act as a strategic bridge between Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Operations, Information Security, and Business units to deliver scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Migration Strategy

- Perform application architecture assessments, current-state evaluations, and cloud-readiness analyses.
- Design target-state cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) incorporating IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless paradigms aligned with enterprise standards.
- Conduct solution design reviews focusing on high availability, disaster recovery (HA/DR), scalability, and security.
- Formulate hosting recommendations and migration strategies (Rehost, Re-platform, Refactor).
- Develop detailed cloud cost estimations, TCO analyses, and financial modeling for cloud deployments.

Architecture & Operational Governance

- Establish and maintain architecture governance aligned with industry-standard readiness frameworks.
- Provide strategic oversight and governance to Cloud Operations teams.
- Oversee enterprise domain management, routing policies, traffic management, and failover configurations to ensure secure external application exposure.

DevSecOps & Platform Onboarding

- Lead enterprise-wide DevSecOps onboarding programs for application teams.




- Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and standardize onboarding prerequisites (Git repositories, infrastructure components, deployment workflows).
- Embed security-first development practices and automated guardrails directly into delivery pipelines.
- Track and report operational metrics, including onboarding progress, deployment success rates, and vulnerability remediation times.

FinOps & Cost Optimization

- Establish FinOps governance models, resource tagging standards, budgeting, and cost forecasting frameworks across cloud platforms.
- Execute cost-saving strategies utilizing Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, right-sizing, and automated resource parking.
- Conduct periodic zero-based cost reviews and optimization workshops to eliminate cloud waste.
- Instill a culture of proactive cost management throughout the solution design and software delivery lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

- 8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, or Cloud Architecture

Technical Expertise

- Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP beneficial).
- Architecture Patterns: Advanced knowledge of cloud-native design, microservices, containerization,



and serverless architectures.
- DevSecOps & Automation: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated security scanning tools.
- Core Infrastructure: Strong competency in enterprise networking, IAM, encryption, and zero-trust security controls.

Functional & Leadership Skills

- Proven track record leading enterprise architecture governance and multi-cloud FinOps initiatives.
- Demonstrated capability in leading large-scale DevSecOps adoption across distributed teams.
- Robust experience managing cross-functional stakeholder alignments and technology transformation initiatives.

Soft Skills

- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes and executive summaries.

Preferred Certifications

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or Azure/GCP equivalent)
- Certified FinOps Practitioner (CFOP)
- Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDSOP) or CISSP

Pay: ₹2,067,333.12 - ₹2,834,890.28 per year
