Role Description The Cinematographer at is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for planning and executing the visual look of campaigns, films, and commercial projects in close collaboration with directors, producers, and creative teams. Day-to-day tasks include selecting and operating cameras and lenses, designing and setting up lighting, composing shots, supervising the camera crew, and ensuring visual consistency with the project’s creative vision and brand guidelines.

The Cinematographer will participate in pre-production meetings, location scouts, and test shoots, as well as support efficient production workflows and collaborate with post-production teams to achieve the desired visual outcome.

Qualifications

Solid proficiency in Cinematography and Camera Operation, with the ability to translate creative concepts into compelling visual narratives.

Hands-on experience in Video Production and Film Production, including on-set workflow, shot planning, and coordination with production teams.





Advanced skills in Lighting design and implementation for diverse environments, moods, and formats (studio, location, commercial, digital content).

Solid understanding of composition, framing, color theory, and visual storytelling principles relevant to cinematic and commercial work.

Ability to work collaboratively with directors, creatives, and crew, and to lead camera and lighting teams in fast-paced production environments.

Familiarity with professional cinema cameras, lenses, grip equipment, and digital workflows;

experience with Mumbai-based production ecosystems is an advantage.

Relevant education in Film, Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in cinematography and commercial production.

Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating high-quality cinematic and commercial projects; ability to adapt style to different brands and formats.
