Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead BEPL’s technology vision and execution, ensuring engineering capabilities align with the company’s solar EPC strategy. This full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad involves overseeing development and defining scalable technology platforms that support project delivery from kilowatt to megawatt scale. The CTO will collaborate with executive leadership to shape prioritise technology initiatives, and manage cross-functional project teams for timely, high-quality implementation.

Daily responsibilities include evaluating emerging technologies, improving internal systems and tools,



establishing development standards and best practices, and ensuring technology supports operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role also includes mentoring technology staff, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to long-term roadmaps that strengthen BEPL’s competitive position in the solar energy market.

Qualifications Candidates should possess proven Project Management abilities, including planning, execution, budgeting, and stakeholder communication for complex, multi-phase initiatives.

Candidates should possess leadership capabilities, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive organizational change.

Extensive experience in technology leadership roles, ideally within energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors, is highly beneficial.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage risk in fast-paced environments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
