Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chief Legal Officer role based in Jaipur.

The Chief Legal

Officer will lead the organization’s legal function, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership on regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance.

Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements, overseeing legal policies and procedures, and ensuring alignment with applicable laws and industry standards. The role involves managing labor and employment law matters, coordinating with external legal advisors when needed, and representing the company in legal proceedings or regulatory interactions.

Officer will also contribute to training and awareness programs for internal teams on legal issues and ethical practices.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Law, with demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes and regulations.
- Expertise in identifying and managing Legal Issues, including compliance, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
- Proven experience providing clear, practical Legal Advice to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Corporate Governance frameworks and best practices for corporate and board-level oversight.
- Hands-on experience with Labor and Employment Law, including policies, contracts, and workforce-related compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); advanced legal qualifications (LL.M) or company secretary certification are advantageous.
- Prior experience in a senior in-house legal role, preferably within employment services, HR solutions, or related sectors.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive workplace practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with executive management and operational teams in an on-site, fast-paced environment.
