Role Description The Captain at The Dressing Room is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune District. This position oversees daily floor operations, ensures smooth service delivery, and acts as a key point of contact between guests, service staff, and management.

Typical responsibilities include coordinating table assignments, supervising service staff, monitoring guest satisfaction, and resolving issues promptly and professionally. The Captain ensures adherence to service standards, supports training of new team members, manages basic reporting (such as shift summaries), and helps maintain a clean and organized environment.



The role requires active engagement on the floor, clear communication, and a hands-on approach to guiding the team and creating a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in hospitality or restaurant operations, preferably in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and coordinate a service team.
- Proficiency in basic operational tasks such as table management, order coordination, and handling guest feedback.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in the Pune District, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
- Knowledge of basic safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in a hospitality environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related certification or training is an advantage.
- Prior experience in similar roles such as floor captain, head server, or shift supervisor is highly beneficial.
