Role Description: The Business Manager – Interior is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing the commercial and operational aspects of interior projects. This role includes managing client relationships, understanding requirements, preparing proposals and estimates, and tracking project budgets and timelines.

The Business

Manager coordinates with design, procurement, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution and high client satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring sales performance, identifying new business opportunities, managing vendor partnerships, and ensuring adherence to quality and brand standards. The role also includes reporting on key business metrics,



supporting strategic planning, and driving continuous improvement in processes.

Qualifications

- Experience in interior design business management, project coordination, or related roles within design, architecture, or real estate.
- Strong client relationship management skills, including requirement gathering, expectation setting, and regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial tracking for projects; ability to analyse margins and optimise profitability.
- Solid organisational and time-management skills, with capability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Familiarity with interior products, materials, and vendors; experience working with premium or branded solutions is an advantage.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local language proficiency is a plus.
- Comfort with using productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project management software, CRM systems).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, interior design, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in office in Bengaluru and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients.
