WE’RE HIRING | BUSINESS MANAGER – CARBON MARKETS / ESG Dantaya Advisors is assisting one of its clients in hiring a Business Manager to work closely with the CEO’s Office and Growth Office. Our client is an India(New Delhi)-headquartered organisation operating in the carbon markets and climate action ecosystem, working with project developers, verification bodies, corporates and other stakeholders across the carbon-credit value chain. The organisation is currently entering an important phase of business expansion, commercialisation and institutional growth, with several new strategic initiatives being developed.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can combine business coordination, analytical ability, stakeholder management and business development in a quick-moving entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities The Business Manager will:

- Work closely with the CEO’s Office & Growth Office in coordinating and supervising various business functions and initiatives • Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, partners and other business constituents • Track and oversee progress against business targets, operating plans and strategic initiatives • Prepare high-quality management presentations, business reviews and decision-support material • Undertake advanced Excel-based analysis, including preparation of business plans, financial projections and financial models
- Identify bottlenecks, follow through on action points and ensure timely execution across functions • Independently lead and drive selected Business Development initiatives,



partnerships and market-development activities • Support management in evaluating new business opportunities and strategic initiatives Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates with:
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Carbon Credits, Carbon Markets, ESG, Sustainability, Climate Finance or allied sectors • A full-time MBA from a reputed management institute • Candidates from an IIM or equivalent leading institution with 4+ years of strong relevant experience may also be considered • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including financial modelling and business analysis • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with senior stakeholders • Ability to independently structure problems, analyse issues and drive them towards resolution
- A strong ownership mindset, problem-solving orientation and go-getter attitude • Willingness and ability to work in a startup / entrepreneurial environment, where responsibilities may extend beyond rigid functional boundaries This is not a purely coordination or administrative role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership, work independently, engage with senior management and contribute directly to business growth.
