Role Description Biologics development professionals at Shilpa Biologicals will contribute to the end-to-end development of biopharmaceutical products, from early-stage research through process optimization and support for scale-up. Day-to-day activities include designing and executing experimental studies, analyzing data, documenting results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as analytical development, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing.

Professionals will participate in technology transfer activities, support troubleshooting during development and validation, and ensure adherence to relevant guidelines and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring close coordination with laboratory and production teams and active participation in project meetings and reviews.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in biologics development, including cell culture techniques, upstream and/or downstream process development, and basic understanding of bioprocess engineering.
- Candidates should possess skills in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific documentation, with proficiency in using relevant software tools for recording and interpreting laboratory results.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of quality and regulatory principles, including familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and guidelines relevant to biopharmaceutical development.
- Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, present findings clearly, and interact with stakeholders across research and manufacturing functions.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a continuous-improvement mindset to support process optimization and troubleshooting.
- A relevant degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or a related life-sciences or engineering discipline is required; advanced qualifications or prior experience in biopharmaceutical or biologics development are highly beneficial.
