Company Description: A Luxury Banquetting Company Role Description The Banquet / Catering Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi. This role is responsible for generating and managing banquet and catering sales, including identifying prospects, conducting sales calls, preparing proposals, and closing business for events. The manager coordinates closely with operations and food & beverage teams to plan event details, ensure accurate execution of client requirements, and maintain high standards of service.
Daily activities include meeting with clients, conducting site visits, managing event calendars, monitoring budgets, and following up post-event to evaluate satisfaction and encourage repeat business. The role also involves maintaining sales reports, analyzing market trends, and developing strategies to grow event revenue while upholding company policies and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong Catering Sales and Banquet Sales experience,
with proven ability to generate and manage event-related revenue.
Event Planning and coordination skills, including organizing timelines, logistics, and vendor or internal team collaboration.
Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and handle inquiries or issues professionally.
Knowledge of Food & Beverage offerings, menus, and service standards relevant to banquet and catering operations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present proposals and close agreements effectively.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.
Relevant experience in hospitality, catering, or event sales; a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
