Experience: 2-3 years Employment: Full-time, In office Eutierria Ventures , the team behind pause... , a plant-based café in Bandra, Mumbai, is looking for a passionate Commis 1/2 - Bakery to join our kitchen team.

At pause..., we believe valuable food starts with good ingredients. Our bakery focuses on thoughtfully made, plant-based breads, baked goods and desserts, with an emphasis on quality, freshness and consistency.

What you’ll be responsible for

- Production of breads, baked goods, cookies and desserts
- Following recipes accurately and maintaining consistent quality, taste and presentation
- Maintaining correct portion sizes, recipes and production standards
- Proper storage and inventory management, including adherence to FIFO - Following food handling, hygiene,



sanitation and food safety standards - Minimising wastage through efficient preparation and storage - Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bakery and equipment - Working with both traditional and modern baking techniques - Supporting the team during service and high-volume production periods - Assisting with new product development and continuous improvement What we’re looking for
- 2-3 years of experience in a professional bakery, café, restaurant or pastry kitchen
- Hands-on experience with breads, baked goods and/or desserts
- Good understanding of bakery production and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of plant-based baking is preferred
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Solid attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work well as part of a team
