Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SDE 2 role based in Gurugram, focused on Node.js back-end development.

The Software Development

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs for Axionix’s products, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as front-end engineers, product managers, and QA. The role also involves participating in architecture discussions,



optimizing existing services, implementing best practices for software development, and contributing to continuous improvement of the engineering processes and tooling.

Qualifications Robust foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.

Proficiency in Back-End Web Development with Node.js and related frameworks, including RESTful API design and integration.

Hands-on Software Development experience across the SDLC, including debugging, testing, and deployment in production environments.

Solid Programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with modern development tools and practices.

Applied Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills and understanding of design patterns and best practices.

Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and message queues is highly beneficial.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, preferably from a Tier 1 institution, or equivalent practical experience.

Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, communicate clearly, and take ownership of deliverables.
