Presto Stantest Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a hands-on Automation & Motion Control Engineer to join our engineering team.

We are looking for someone who understands how an industrial machine actually moves, performs, and responds under load not on fundametally with theories but with experienced practicalities.

Our machines involve servo motors, servo drives, gearboxes, lead screws, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors and industrial communication, and we need an engineer who can work across these systems and solve real machine-performance challenges.

? WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will be involved in:

- Servo motor & servo drive selection
- Motion-control system development
- Servo commissioning and tuning
- Motor speed & torque analysis
- Gearbox and transmission calculations
- Lead screw / ball screw integration
- Linear speed and force calculations
- VFD selection, commissioning & troubleshooting
- HMI and machine-control integration
- Sensors, encoders, limit switches & safety interlocks
- Industrial communication and machine networking
- Machine commissioning and troubleshooting
- Technical evaluation of automation components and supplier ? REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Servo & Motion Control

- Servo motor selection
- Servo drive selection
- Rated vs maximum RPM
- Torque-speed characteristics
- Continuous & peak torque
- Servo tuning
- Encoder/feedback systems
- Position, velocity & torque control
- Acceleration/deceleration
- Servo alarms and troubleshooting

Mechanical Integration

- Gearbox ratios
- Gearbox efficiency
- Lead screw / ball screw
- Screw pitch/lead
- Motor-to-linear-speed calculations
- Torque transmission
- Axial load
- Mechanical losses




- Coupling and bearing considerations
- Understanding of mechanical limitations affecting motion

Electrical & Automation

- Industrial control panels
- VFDs and motor control
- Sensors and actuators
- Digital/analog I/O
- Encoders
- Limit switches
- Emergency/safety circuits
- Electrical drawings and troubleshooting ? BRAND EXPERIENCE

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

Delta | Panasonic | Siemens | Mitsubishi | Omron | Yaskawa | Schneider | ABB | or equivalent industrial automation platforms

Exact brand experience is not mandatory if you have strong fundamentals in servo and motion control.

Freshers with exceptional practical exposure to servo systems and industrial machine automation may also be considered.
