Role Description The Audit Executive (CA Firm) role at VirtuAxel is a full-time, in office position based in Mangaluru.

The Audit

Executive will conduct statutory and internal audits, review financial statements, and prepare detailed audit reports in line with professional and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include examining accounting records and supporting documents, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with GST and other applicable tax regulations. The role involves identifying audit findings, performing analytical reviews, discussing observations with clients and senior team members, and contributing to recommendations that improve financial processes and controls.

Executive will collaborate closely with the accounting and tax teams, maintain accurate documentation, and support client queries related to audit and compliance matters.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Audit Reports and Financial Statements, with experience in reviewing, interpreting, and preparing audit documentation.

Candidates should possess solid Finance and Analytical Skills,



including the ability to analyze data, detect variances, and draw meaningful conclusions for audit recommendations.

Candidates should possess knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and related compliance requirements, including practical exposure to tax filings and reconciliations.

Candidates should possess good understanding of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and internal control frameworks.

Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and clear documentation of audit findings.

Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.

A professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), or pursuing CA with relevant audit experience, is preferred; a bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or finance is beneficial.

Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and familiarity with audit tools will be an added advantage.
