Role Description The Audit Executive & Tax Analyst will work full time in office in the Greater Kolkata Area, supporting statutory audits, internal audits, and tax compliance assignments. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial records, assisting in audit planning and execution, verifying supporting documents, and preparing working papers and schedules. The role also involves drafting and filing income tax and GST returns,



supporting tax assessments, and assisting in tax planning and advisory under the guidance of senior team members.

The professional will communicate with clients to obtain information, clarify queries, and ensure timely completion of audit and tax deliverables. The position requires maintaining documentation, following firm methodologies, staying updated with accounting and tax regulations, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic taxation concepts.

Ability to work with financial statements, ledgers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation in a structured manner.

Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting and tax software is an advantage..

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or holding CA/CA Inter or similar qualifications is preferred.
