Job Summary Lead execution of M&A; advisory transactions for our clients, with supervision and guidance from senior members and assistance from junior members of the team, and contribute to idea generation and engage in high quality pitches Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies
Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyse the impacts on potential M&A; transactions
Participate in all stages of transaction executions, from the pitch phase through to closing
Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank, other advisers and the clients
Involved in day to day project management and execution support
Research and analysis of markets and industries
Research and financial analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources
Prepare presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance
Effective transaction and deal team management
Efficiently manage several projects at once and help ensure that the quality of services meet the highest industry standards
Effectively manage deal teams and encourage creating a culture of collaboration

Business Standard
Chartered M&A; provides comprehensive advisory services to its clients on a wide range of M&A; transactions and capital- raising activities, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and financial restructurings. Our M&A; teams are organized by region and work closely with our industry coverage partners, other product groups and global relationship banking team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mumbai based M&A; team that covers the South Asia region.
Reporting to the regional head of M&A;, this Associate position will lead deal execution as well as assist with origination and developing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong execution experience in M&A; and / or private equity fund raise transactions. Opportunity to become a key member of an experienced M&A; team to help shape and implement future strategy.

Research and Market Analysis Qualifications Requirements Post Graduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy or equivalent
Relevant work experience in M&A;, Investment Banking or related business
Strong work ethic, high energy level, able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
Capable of independent execution of complex transactions
Good team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education: Degree or post graduate qualified from a top-tier school
Professional Qualifications: At least 1-2 years of experience in the banking industry Key Skills Strong analytical and communication skills
