Role Overview

We are looking for a highly execution-drive n JIT Supply Chain – Central Operations Lead er to manage centralized supply chain operations with a strong focus o n Just-in-Time (JIT) supply planning, order flow optimization, and inventory efficiency.

This role will be responsible for ensurin g seamless coordination between procurement, warehouses, vendors, and demand planning tea ms, enabling fast and reliable fulfilment while maintaining minimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have strong experience i n centralized supply chain operations, inventory planning, fulfilment operations, and cross-functional coordinati on, preferably i n pharma, healthcare, e-commerce, FMCG.

Key Responsibilities

JIT Supply Chain Execution

- Drive end-to-e nd Just-in-Time (JIT) supply chain operati ons across centralized systems
- Ensure timely availability of products with minimal inventory holding
- Optimi ze order-to-fulfilment workfl ows to reduce delays and improve service levels




- Manage daily supply chain operations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow

Central Operations Management

- Oversee centralized operational workflows across multiple warehouses or distribution centres
- Monitor and mana ge order allocation, replenishment cycles, and fulfilment timelines
- Ensure operational alignment between procurement, logistics, and warehouse tea
- Maintain high accuracy in order processing and inventory movement

Demand Planning & Inventory Optimization

- Collaborate with demand planning teams to align supply with forecasted demand
- Optimi ze inventory lev els, safety stock thresholds, and replenishment cycles
- Monitor stock availability and proactively address shortages or overstock risks
- Drive improvements in inventory turnover and working capital efficiency

Vendor & Procurement Coordination

- Coordinate closely with procurement teams to ensure timely supplier deliveries
- Monitor supplier lead times and improve vendor responsiveness
- Support vendor scheduling aligned with JIT requirements
- Carefully navigate vendor margins and have a valuable eye for numbers

Technology & Data Utilization

- Ensure effective use of ERP/WMS syst ems for centralized operations
- Develop dashboards to track supply chain KPIs

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with procurement, warehouse, logistics, finance, and planning teams
- Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business Administration
- MBA in Operations / Supply Chain Managem ent preferred
- Certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean, APICS, or C IPS preferred

Experience Requirements

- 4-6+ y ears in SCM Consulting Experience or JIT-based supply chain environments
- Experience in multi-location supply environments
- Prior experience in pharma, e-commerce, healthcare, FMCG, or manufactu ring preferred
- Hands on with number crunching, has a good understanding of margins in numbers
