Our client is a TOP Indian FMCG with its corporate office in Chennai. They are looking for Assistant Manager-Legal, who will report into EVP- Legal. The candidate should be either from FMCG, Manufacutring, Trading or Banking Experience and should be from Chennai.

Purpose/objective of this position: The objective is to have a litigation and legal transaction managing resource for the group company activities.

Job Responsibilities of the position: To take care of (a) legal documentations (b) litigation management (c) legal transaction management (d) IPR management and (e) FMCG specific activity management

Qualification and years of Experience: Graduate LLB- full time 5 year course / LLM is preferred. With court/ corporate experience of 10 years.

Essential functional Competencies:



Must have practiced in a court of law for at least 5 years. Additional experience of 5 years in court / corporate is expected.

Attitude/Skills/Knowledge: Expertise in managing litigation management including court practices. Sound knowledge in legal drafting. Reasonable knowledge in IPR management. Flair to become a leader in the long term.
