Role Description The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves supporting the design and delivery of individualized and small-group training programs focused on functional movement, strength development, and performance enhancement. The coach will conduct assessments, demonstrate proper exercise technique, monitor training sessions, and adjust programming based on member progress and needs.
Daily responsibilities include guiding warm-ups and cool-downs, tracking performance data, assisting with injury-prevention protocols,
and ensuring a safe training environment. The role also includes collaborating with senior coaches, educating members on training principles and recovery strategies, and contributing to a positive, motivating atmosphere in the facility.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge and practical experience in Sports Science and Athletic Performance.
Proficiency in Strength & Conditioning and Strength Training program design and implementation.
Understanding of Injury Prevention strategies and safe exercise progression.
Relevant certification in strength and conditioning, sports performance, or personal training (e.g., CSCS, S&C-specific; credentials) preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is an advantage.
Ability to coach individuals and small groups with clear communication and positive motivation.
Strong observation skills to correct technique, manage risk, and support diverse populations, including youth, adults, and older adults.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required by member schedules.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in strength and conditioning and human performance.
