Role Description The Assistant Vice President – Fund Raising is a full time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad, responsible for designing and executing fundraising strategies to support Akava Luxury’s growth and sustainability initiatives. This role involves identifying and cultivating potential investors, donors, and strategic partners; preparing compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations; and managing fundraising campaigns across multiple channels.

The Assistant Vice

President will coordinate annual giving programs, oversee donor stewardship activities, and maintain strong relationships through regular communication, reporting, and engagement events. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing fundraising performance, tracking metrics, supporting monitoring and evaluation of initiatives,



and collaborating with senior leadership to align funding priorities with business objectives. The role also requires close coordination with finance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure transparent use of funds and clear impact communication.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret fundraising data, financial reports, and performance metrics, and to use insights for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to develop persuasive proposals, deliver impactful presentations, and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in Annual Giving programs, campaign planning, and donor acquisition strategies, with a track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
- Demonstrated Stewardship capabilities, including donor relationship management, retention strategies, and consistent, high-quality follow-up and reporting.
- Knowledge of M&E; (Monitoring and Evaluation) methods to assess fundraising initiatives, measure outcomes, and report on impact to leadership and supporters.
- Prior experience in fundraising, investor relations, business development, or non-profit development, preferably within premium consumer goods, fashion, or luxury sectors.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professional integrity, collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams on-site in Ghaziabad.
