This role involves close collaboration with engineering and production teams to ensure adherence to metallurgical standards, optimize furnace performance, and maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The position demands a solid foundation in metallurgical engineering principles, hands-on experience with blast furnace operations, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic mining and metals environment.

Primary Responsibilities: Assist in monitoring and analyzing blast furnace operations to ensure compliance with quality standards and operational parameters. Support the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance protocols specific to blast furnace processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot operational issues and recommend corrective actions to enhance furnace efficiency and product quality.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of furnace equipment and processes to identify potential risks and areas for improvement. Maintain detailed documentation of quality control activities, test results,



and process deviations for reporting and compliance purposes. Participate in the development and execution of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Assist in training and mentoring junior staff on quality assurance procedures and safety standards within the blast furnace environment.
