About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently handle finalization of accounts in coordination with our CA/auditors, along with day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate has worked in the logistics/transport industry, is comfortable with statutory compliance and finalization work, and is fluent in English — as the role also involves preparing and reviewing content for tender filing.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage finalization of accounts — trial balance, P&L;, balance sheet — in coordination with the company's CA/auditors
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, and accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances; coordinate with CA for income tax filing and audits
- Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards
- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries for management
- Support tender filing work — draft, review, and proofread financial documents, declarations, and eligibility statements in fluent English
- Coordinate with banks for loans, working capital facilities, LC/BG requirements, and documentation
- Liaise with vendors, transporters, and customers on billing, payments, and reconciliation issues specific to logistics operations
- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
- Support internal and statutory audits with required documentation and clarifications

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with prior experience in the logistics/transport/fleet industry mandatory




- Proven experience in finalization of accounts working closely with a Chartered Accountant
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
- Very fluent in English — spoken and written — as the role requires preparing content for tender filing and official correspondence
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally/ERP) and MS Excel
- B.Com/M.Com or equivalent; additional certification (semi-qualified CA/CMA) a plus
- Robust attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good coordination skills to liaise with auditors, banks, and government departments
