This position is part of the Process Engineering Institute and focuses on the development, planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive continuous process improvement and develop new assembly processes.
2. Design assembly process plans and prepare, maintain, and optimize process documentation and work instructions.
3. Lead the specification, evaluation, development, qualification, and introduction of tooling, equipment, and consumables.
4. Establish and validate standard labor hours and consumables usage standards.
5. Lead process planning, capacity planning, and production-line and workstation layout design.
6. Investigate, analyze, and resolve process-related quality issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering,



Materials Processing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Hands-on experience in final assembly process engineering within the machinery or equipment manufacturing industry.
3. Experience in sub-assembly or final assembly processes at a wind turbine OEM is preferred.
4. Robust process development and process design capabilities.
5. Proficiency in CAD and technical drawing software.
6. Experience serving as the process engineering representative on wind turbine product development or new product introduction projects is preferred.
7. Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills, with a high level of ownership and accountability.
