Role Description The Architect will work on-site in Chennai in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with project teams to design and develop residential, commercial, and community-focused spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing and refining architectural designs, creating detailed drawings and plans, coordinating with engineering and construction teams, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. The role involves participating in client meetings to understand requirements, presenting design concepts, and incorporating feedback to achieve functional and aesthetically compelling outcomes.

The Architect will also support project management activities, monitor design implementation on-site,



and contribute to continuous improvement in design standards and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and detailing.

- Experience in Project Management, with the ability to coordinate timelines, resources, and stakeholders.

- Understanding of Integration between architectural plans and structural, MEP, and other technical systems.

- Familiarity with Software Development or design-related software workflows is a plus, particularly for BIM or advanced visualization tools.

- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and digital collaboration platforms.

- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles relevant to Chennai and urban projects.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is desirable.

- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients.
