The Role

We have an opening for an Analytics Manager / Statistician to join the Talentra team in India, embedded full-time with a leading marketing strategy and analytics consultancy serving Fortune 500 companies across Tech, Telecom, FinTech, and Healthcare. This is a technically demanding role for someone who has moved beyond execution and is ready to own the analytical foundation of complex, high-stakes research programs.

You will work in parallel with the Client Services team, owning data architecture, advanced modelling, and statistical rigor from end to end. You will partner directly with US-based Research VPs, ensuring that every model, every output, and every deliverable meets a decision-grade standard. Flexibility in this role is key as you will also work with Client Services team on day-to-day project tasks (as time allows).

The work is varied, methodologically rich, and directly influences how Fortune 500 clients make strategic decisions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Execute complex research designs from scratch: discrete choice modelling (conjoint), MaxDiff, advanced segmentation (K-means, latent class), and key driver analysis.
- Take full responsibility for data processing and integrity across multiple concurrent projects: cleaning, structuring, validation, complex weighting schemes, significance testing, and advanced crosstabulations that serve as the foundation for Client Services reporting.
- Write clean, repeatable, and highly efficient code and syntax to automate and scale complex analytical processes. Manage and manipulate large, messy datasets from diverse sources with precision and speed.
- Partner with US-based Research VPs to align statistical modelling approaches with client business objectives.
- Collaborate directly with the offshore Client Services team and US Project Leads to translate complex statistical outputs into cohesive, executive-ready narratives. The expectation is not just accurate analysis but the ability to identify the so what in the data,

ensuring the math always answers the clients strategic question.

What Were Looking For

- Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in market research analytics, statistics, or marketing science.
- Deep, demonstrable proficiency in SPSS, R, Python, and Q (Displayr).
- Strong experience with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven hands-on experience executing conjoint, MaxDiff, and advanced segmentation methodologies.
- Strategic thinker who can align research design with client business objectives.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to non-technical colleagues and the ability to produce clear, concise C-suite narratives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, solve data architecture problems creatively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- An openness to utilizing AI-powered workflow tools.
- Bachelors degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

How You Work

- Empirically rigorous: You do not cut corners on data integrity. Flawed logic, incorrect weighting, or unchecked assumptions are not acceptable regardless of deadline pressure. The accuracy of the analysis is non-negotiable.
- Client-obsessed: You do not consider a model complete just because the numbers are correct. You ask whether the output actually answers the clients question, and you keep asking until it does.
- Detail-oriented and organised: You manage multiple complex modelling tasks simultaneously without losing precision on any of them. You track your own work, your own deadlines,

and your own quality bar.
- Collaborative: You work in genuine partnership with the Client Services team and US-based Directors. You translate your statistical outputs into something they can use, and you engage with their interpretation questions rather than treating them as interruptions.
- Proactive and curious: You look for opportunities to improve your code, learn new methods, and push the technical standard of the teams work forward. You do not wait to be told a better approach exists.
- Committed to excellence: You hold yourself to a high standard on every engagement, whether it is a routine crosstab or a full conjoint design. The size of the project does not determine the quality of the work.
- Versatile and willing to stretch: Analytics is your core focus, but when the modelling load is light, you happily pitch in on wider project work, from survey proofing to tab plans to client support. You do not need prior experience in these areas, we can train that. What counts is a team-first attitude and a genuine appetite to learn skills outside your core function.

Desirable, but Not Essential

- Experience running Latent Class Analysis or Hierarchical Bayes modelling.
- Familiarity with predictive analytics or regression-based approaches in a market research context.
- Experience presenting or explaining statistical findings directly to clients or senior stakeholders.
- Exposure to qualitative research methods and how they complement quantitative outputs.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior analysts.

Working Arrangements

- Based in India, remote, with all employment, payroll, and statutory benefits managed by Talentra under Indian law.
- Working hours aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST), 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
- Fully embedded with the clients research and analytics team. You work as a dedicated member of one clients team, not rotating between short-term projects.
