Hampox is going into launch, and we need someone who can write the scripts that carry it.

Hampox is an AI-powered website builder that creates premium websites for Indian small businesses in seconds, in their own language, connected to WhatsApp orders. Built for shopkeepers, studio owners, family manufacturers and first-time founders — people who know their product but have never had a website. ₹399/month, free to start. The product is live.

The videos get produced with AI (Google Flow for video, ElevenLabs for multi-language dubbing). The tools are handled. What decides whether a video works is the script — and that's the whole role.

The terms, upfront

- Unpaid for now. No salary, no stipend, no equity in this role. What you get is credit, published work, and creative ownership of what you write.
- Output-based, not hours-based. Roughly 2-3 finished scripts a week, on agreed deadlines.
- Remote, adaptable. Write when it suits you, as long as deadlines hold.
- We start with one paid-attention trial script so both of us see the fit before committing.

What you'd write

- Short-form scripts for Reels and Shorts — hook, beat-by-beat structure, voiceover lines, on-screen text
- Detailed shot-level direction — since these get made with AI video tools, your script needs precision: what's in frame, what changes, what the viewer hears. Vague direction produces vague video.
- Campaigns and series — multi-video arcs with a running thread, not just one-offs
- Standalone videos — feature explainers, founder logs, customer stories, trend-led formats
- The same idea across three languages — English, Hindi and Telugu, written natively in each, not translated. Tone shifts by language, and you'd own that.





The craft: making a shop owner who's never had a website feel, within three seconds, this is for me . Innovative, trendy, and aligned to what Hampox actually is — not generic ad copy.

What I'm looking for

- Someone who thinks in content, not just words. You should be able to explain why a hook works before you write it.
- Precision. Detailed, tight, deliberate writing — every line doing a job.
- Native-level writing in English plus Hindi and/or Telugu.
- Awareness of what's currently working on Indian short-form — formats, trends, pacing.
- Creativity that survives constraints. You'll be writing to a brand and a real business goal.

Not required: certificates, degrees, prior agency work, or experience with AI tools. If you can write, the tools are learnable in a day.

What you get

Credit on published work, a portfolio of real produced videos with your name behind them, direct creative work with the founder, and full creative latitude on how the ideas get told. When Hampox has revenue, paid work goes first to people who built it with us.

4. One line on why that hook works for that person specifically.
