Role Description The Agency Manager role at Niva Bupa Health Insurance is a full-time, in office position based in Guwahati.

The Agency

Manager will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring agency partners and agents, driving business growth through health insurance sales in the assigned region. Daily activities include setting sales targets, monitoring performance, providing training and guidance on products and compliance, and ensuring high-quality customer service.



The role involves collaboration with internal teams, organizing local initiatives to expand the customer base, and maintaining strong relationships with distribution partners.

The Agency

Manager is expected to use market insights and data to optimize performance, support operational efficiency, and uphold Niva Bupa’s standards of ethics and customer-centricity.

Qualifications Proven experience in sales or distribution management, preferably in insurance or financial services.

Strong skills in team leadership, agent recruitment, and performance management.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Sound understanding of local market dynamics and willingness to work on-site in Guwahati.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze data, track metrics, and drive results.

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certification is an advantage.

Working knowledge of health insurance products and regulatory guidelines is preferred.

Comfort with basic digital tools and CRM or sales management systems.

Demonstrated integrity, customer-centric approach, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
