Job Purpose To meet requirements of hydraulic core competency as per specifications defined for projects/machines by Marketing and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Selection and sizing of Hydraulics components for construction equipment like Skid Steer Loader, Backhoe loader, Excavator, Compactor
- Perform calculations, make hydraulic schematics, conduct simulation
- Integrations of Hydraulic parts in the equipment layout
- Hydraulic related plumbing design and routing on CAD software and 2D drawing preparation
- PIR resolution, DFMEA , test requests and design documentation




- Resolve internal and external customer complaints, conduct field visits whenever necessary

Experience Required

- Minimum 10+ years of Industry experience.
- Knowledge of applicable standards, calculation at vehicle level for component sizing, selection, and design of hydrostatic drives, valves, pump, plumbing routing & brackets
- Ability to interpret results from FEA, Knowledge of using hydraulic simulation tools is preferred
- CREO 3D Modeling and 2D Drafting
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Principles, DFMEA & Visual Mock-up basic knowledge
- Understanding of tools used for Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving
- Application knowledge of PLM Tools (e.g. Teamcenter & Enovia)
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills
