Role Description The Admission Counsellor for Universal School Ghatkopar will guide prospective students and families through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrolment. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai includes conducting campus visits, responding to admission queries, explaining academic programs and school policies, and maintaining accurate records of leads and applications. The role involves engaging with parents and guardians, understanding student needs, and presenting appropriate academic options while adhering to established admission criteria.

The Admission





Counsellor will collaborate with school leadership and administrative teams to support admission events, open houses, and outreach activities, and contribute to achieving enrolment targets in a professional and student-centered manner.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, provide guidance, and ensure a positive admissions experience.

Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to convert leads into confirmed admissions while maintaining ethical and transparent practices.

Candidates should possess Education-related understanding or experience in school or academic environments to explain programs and curricula clearly.

Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency in MS Office and basic data management, fluency in English and local languages, robust organizational skills, and prior experience in admissions or front-office roles in education.

A graduate degree in any discipline is preferred;

experience in counselling, education management, or customer-facing roles will be an advantage.
