A Canada based property management company is looking for an Accountant. The role includes rent accounting, vendor payments, reconciliations, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Job Type : Remote

Working Hours : Night Shift (9:00pm to 4:00am)

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate accounting records for properties under management.
- Record rental income, security deposits, expenses, and other property-related transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and property reports.
- Monitor rent collections, outstanding balances, and tenant accounts.
- Process invoices and payments to vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Perform bank, tenant, vendor, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare property budgets, cash-flow reports, and variance analysis.
- Track property expenses and compare actual costs against budgets.
- Assist with payroll, tax filings, audits, and statutory compliance as required.




- Maintain proper documentation for leases, invoices, receipts, and financial transactions.
- Coordinate with property managers, tenants, vendors, auditors, and management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations.
- Use accounting/property management software to maintain financial records.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of accounting experience; property management experience is an advantage.
- Positive knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.
