Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting, taxation, inventory reconciliation and financial reporting of our garment manufacturing business. The candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, banking and manufacturing-related accounts.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily purchase, sales, expense, receipt and payment entries.
- Record fabric, accessories, packing materials and finished-goods transactions.
- Prepare GST-compliant sales and purchase invoices.
- Handle GST returns, TDS calculations and related compliance.
- Perform bank, cash, customer and supplier reconciliations.
- Maintain customer outstanding and supplier payable records.
- Follow up with customers and sales staff regarding overdue payments.
- Verify purchase bills, transport charges, job-work bills and other expenses.
- Maintain records of job work issued and received.
- Reconcile raw-material consumption, production and finished-goods stock.
- Calculate product costs using material, labour,



job-work and overhead expenses.
- Assist with payroll, attendance, advances and employee reimbursements.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with the CA, auditors, banks and government departments.
- Maintain proper supporting documents and organised accounting records.
- Assist management with cash-flow planning, budgeting and expense control.

Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, e-invoicing and e-way bills.
- Understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting.
- Ability to prepare ledgers, reconciliations and financial reports.
- Positive numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
- Experience with garment or textile accounting will be preferred.

Qualifications
- B.Com, M.Com or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Candidates with experience in garment manufacturing, textiles, inventory or job-work accounting will be given preference.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
