The Role

You'll own the day-to-day financial record-keeping, compliance, and reporting for Finova Motors - bookkeeping, GST/TDS compliance, vendor and payroll processing, and supporting audit and investor reporting requirements. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone early in their career who wants real exposure to how a funded startup's finance function actually runs, working directly with the founders rather than deep inside a large finance team.

What You Will Do

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts - journal entries, ledgers, bank reconciliation, and general bookkeeping in Tally/Zoho Books or equivalent
- Handle GST filing, TDS deduction and filing, and other statutory compliance requirements on time
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and reimbursements, and maintain accurate expense records
- Support payroll processing and coordinate with the team on salary disbursement and statutory deductions (PF, ESI where applicable)
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, expense summaries, and cash flow trackers for founder review
- Support the annual audit process - organizing documentation, coordinating with the statutory auditor, and closing audit queries




- Assist in preparing the financial information required for investor reporting (monthly/quarterly reports, provisional financials) as per investor information rights obligations
- Maintain proper documentation and filing for all financial records, contracts, and compliance filings
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and cost tracking as the company scales manufacturing and procurement activity

What We're Looking For

- B.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent; CA-Inter or pursuing CA is a robust plus but not mandatory
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic Indian statutory compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, Excel, or similar accounting/spreadsheet tools
- Attention to detail and comfort with recurring, deadline-driven compliance work
- Freshers with strong academic grounding in accounting fundamentals and a genuine interest in startup finance are encouraged to apply — prior internship experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently in a small, fast-moving team with direct founder interaction

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
