Role Description The Accountant role at Erotissch is a full-time, on-site position based in Agra. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accurate ledgers, recording transactions, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and reports, reconciling bank accounts, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and cost control for production and operations.



The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinating with external auditors or consultants as needed, and providing clear financial insights to management. The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and contribute to efficient, transparent financial processes.

Qualifications

Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.

Experience with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.

Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Excel or similar tools).

Understanding of taxation, compliance requirements, and statutory filings relevant to manufacturing or retail.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to meet deadlines.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, production, and leadership teams.

Experience in fashion, textile, or manufacturing sectors is an advantage.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in handling financial data.
