Role Description The Accountant role at Audiozhub Services (OPC) Pvt Ltd is a full-time hybrid position based in Kochi, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining general ledgers, posting journal entries, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts.

The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, prepare invoices, track payments, and support cash flow management. They will assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.



The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to the improvement of financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including experience with general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Excel or similar tools) and comfort working with digital financial systems.
- Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, with the ability to prepare and review related filings and documentation.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis, with attention to detail and accuracy in preparing statements and reports.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a quick-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a startup, agency, or SME environment and familiarity with hybrid or remote work practices will be beneficial.
