Role Description The Academic Counsellor will provide guidance to students on academic pathways, course selections, and educational opportunities, ensuring alignment with their interests, abilities, and long-term goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, organizing information sessions on educational programs, and assisting students with admission processes and documentation. The role involves collaborating with educational institutions, maintaining accurate student records, and preparing reports on counseling outcomes and student progress.

The Academic





Counsellor will also support career awareness initiatives, respond to student and parent inquiries, and participate in outreach activities to promote the organization’s services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners in making informed educational decisions.

- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with students, families, and educational partners in a clear and qualified manner.

- Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education-related knowledge to guide students on future academic and career options.

- Relevant experience in academic counseling, student services, or education management is preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; a master’s degree or counseling certification is an advantage.

- Ability to work in a structured, on-site environment in Kochi, with strong organizational and documentation skills.

- Proficiency in using basic office software and student information systems; familiarity with regional and international education pathways is beneficial.
