Job Role Summary The primary role of the Senior Investigator Advisor is to lead investigations where potential violations of the Corporation’s Standards of Business Conduct policies and procedures may have occurred.

The Senior Advisor reports to the Investigations ADM (IADM) EAME and Asia Pacific. The role is part of the Global Audit team and will work closely with both the iADM, Audit Division Managers (ADMs) and FGA’s on the investigation and reporting of potential irregularities.

The role is based in Bangalore. The role requires travel on an as required basis to locations within the AP/EAME area in order to lead or assist in investigations.

Job Responsibilities Scope The

Audit function has primary responsibility for investigating potential reportable irregularities with respect to violations of the Corporation’s Standards of Business Conduct. The key areas for which Audit have responsibility are violations relating to the following policies: Ethics

Gifts and Entertainment The Senior Advisor will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out the investigation of potential irregularities in collaboration with both the iADM and AAM in whose portfolio the investigation resides.

This will include: Consulting with other staff groups such as HR, Security and Law to determine who will direct an investigation, who will lead it, resources required etc.

Conducting investigations and interviews

Recommending whether there has been a violation or the investigation should be treated as a “no-bill”

Reviewing comparable cases in order to recommend appropriate disciplinary action





Preparation of investigations summaries for review with Audit and business line management

Preparing materials for and coordinating monthly status update meetings with the Functional General Auditors on open investigations On occasions, the Senior Advisor will assist other Audit regions on investigations requiring additional resources.

The Senior

Advisor will also work on Special Reviews, Management Requests and other projects as scheduled. In addition, it is possible the Senior Advisor may be required to participate in or lead certain audits where there is a special need or resource requirement.

Investigations

Center of Expertise The Senior Advisor will also participate in Audit’s Investigations Center of Expertise (COE) to facilitate the consistent application of Internal Audit Global Standards and Practices for conducting investigations and making decisions on the reporting of incidents. This may include participating in initiatives to develop investigative best practices and the development of recommendations of current or revised policies and procedures.

Training The Senior

Advisor may become involved in various training activities such as assisting in the teaching of Audit’s Investigations training course, or periodic refresher training for Audit management and Risk and Controls personnel.

Collaboration – collaborates effectively within Internal Audit and with a variety of subject matter experts and organizations including HR, Law, Security and Risk and Controls to progress Investigation work to conclusion. Integrity – demonstrates unquestionable integrity

Initiative - Able to work under own initiative to progress investigation cases while respecting legal and regulatory constraints

Manages Risk – applies a risk based approach to their work considering the potential exposures presented by the matter at hand
