Job DescriptionDescriptionWe are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP systems and modules. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom ABAP programs and applications to meet business needs.Responsibilities- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, forms, and interfaces in SAP environments.- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing ABAP programs.- Optimize performance of ABAP programs and database queries.- Participate in system upgrades and migration projects.- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing,



and user acceptance testing.Skills and Qualifications- 6-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and tools such as SAP NetWeaver.- Experience with SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, or HR is a plus.- Familiarity with enhancements and modifications in SAP including User Exits, BAdIs, and BAPIs.- Understanding of data dictionary objects like tables, views, data elements, domains, etc.- Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is a plus.- Knowledge of performance tuning in ABAP and database optimization techniques.- Positive problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
