Role: Data Modeler

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Modeler with 10+ years of experience to join our Data & Analytics organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Enterprise Data Modeling, Canonical Data Models, Master Data Management (MDM), Insurance domain data modeling, and Snowflake in a cloud setting.

The role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, application teams, and technology leadership to design scalable and standardized data models supporting complex insurance business requirements and enterprise transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models based on business and technical requirements.




- Develop and maintain Enterprise Data Models aligned with business processes and enterprise data standards.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in designing Canonical Data Models (CDM).
- Design and maintain MDM data models, including entities, attributes, relationships, hierarchies, and data domains.
- Apply strong knowledge of the Insurance domain to translate complex business requirements into effective data models.
- Design data structures and models supporting Snowflake-based cloud data environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, application teams, and other technology stakeholders to define and validate data requirements.
- Ensure data models follow best practices around standardization, scalability, reusability, data quality, and governance.
- Support enterprise data modernization and transformation initiatives.
- Provide guidance and best practices related to data modeling standards and methodologies.

Required Experience & Skills

- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Modeling or related data-focused roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling.
- Strong expertise in Enterprise Data Modeling and Canonical Data Modeling.
- Hands-on experience with MDM Data Modeling.
- Strong understanding of the Insurance domain, particularly from a data modeling perspective.
- Experience working with Snowflake in a cloud environment.
- Strong understanding of data relationships, data structures, normalization, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data standards.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise transformation or modernization programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed/global teams in an MNC or consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with global insurance organizations or large enterprise environments.
- Exposure to modern Cloud Data Platforms, MDM, Data Governance, and Data Engineering ecosystems.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams and enterprise consulting engagements.
