Responsibilities

Job Description - Global Head of Data ENGINEERING COE

Provide application architectural solutions to meet business requirements.

Work in compliance with organization's policies and procedures for operational efficiency.

Recommend recent technologies to management to develop robust applications.

Define methods, standards and templates. Review and recommend improvements to existing application architectures.

Contribute to build and maintain IS strategy framework (API cartography, identification of obsolete systems/decommissioning, etc.)

Study the market to provide high-level architectural vision of the organization and define a target.

Define a roadmap of implementation and transformation.

Work on application decommission strategies identified by the Business Line and Central Architecture teams.

Required

Profile required

Will be responsible for one or more technical domains in GBTO

Good understanding of designing & architecting on Azure

Hands-on experience on big data stack

Experience driving end-to-end architecture for large distributed systems

Hands-on familiarity with Java/C#/Python (preferably Java/Python)

Good in RDBMS, MQ, caching, load balancing, service discovery, micro services
