Voorent is a furniture and appliance company focused on making furniture more accessible through rental, customization, and technology. We are building a modern furniture ecosystem for customers across NCR.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development & Operations Intern who is proactive, comfortable talking to people, and willing to take ownership of different tasks.

This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the founder and team across business development, operations, customer coordination, and social media content creation.

What You'll Do

Business Development

- Reach out to property brokers, real estate consultants, co-living operators, builders, and potential business partners.
- Call and follow up with potential customers and partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with channel partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
- Assist in converting leads into customers.

Operations

- Coordinate with customers regarding orders, deliveries, installations, and payments.
- Follow up on pending payments and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, delivery teams, and internal teams.
- Help ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
- Handle day-to-day operational tasks and solve customer issues.

Social Media & Content

- Participate in Instagram Reel creation and shooting.
- Visit customer locations for content shoots when required.




- Shoot furniture/product videos using a smartphone.
- Edit Reels for Instagram using CapCut, VN, or similar editing apps.
- Help with content ideas, hooks, scripts, and trends.
- Create engaging content showcasing Voorent's furniture, customer homes, products, and behind-the-scenes work.

Who We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making calls and approaching current people.
- Proactive and willing to take ownership.
- Good negotiation and convincing skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Interest in sales, business development, operations, and social media.
- Basic understanding of Instagram Reels and video editing is preferred.
- Having an iPhone 16/17 is preferred for content creation.
- Willing to travel within Gurgaon/NCR for customer visits and business development when required.
