Role Description This is a full time, on-site Automation Engineer role based in Greater Noida, Omicron. The Automation Engineer will design, program, and integrate automation solutions for packaging lines, including robotics, conveyors, and control systems for equipment such as filling, labelling, shrink wrapping, and palletizing machines. Responsibilities include configuring PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems, performing system testing and validation, and optimizing process control for efficiency, safety, and reliability. The role involves troubleshooting electrical and automation issues, supporting installation and commissioning at customer sites,



and preparing technical documentation, manuals, and reports. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams, as well as customers, to meet project specifications and timelines and to provide ongoing technical support.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Automation and Process Control skills for packaging machinery and integrated production lines.
- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering skills, including control panels, wiring, instrumentation, and power distribution.
- Candidates should possess practical Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automated systems.
- Candidates should possess Robotics experience, including programming, integration, and maintenance of robotic palletizers and handling systems.
- Relevant bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus) is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts, SCADA, data acquisition, and digitalization of manufacturing processes is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, and to prepare clear technical documentation.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
