About the role:
We are seeking an Associate/Senior Associate – Sales Planning under the Global Sales Operations department. This role will require someone who can partner with various stakeholders to represent Sales and collaborate effectively on cross-functional projects. As an Associate/Senior Associate – Sales Planning, you will support Sales on inbound requests as well as the resolution of contract errors. If you thrive on problem solving, creating process documentation, and checking tasks off your to-do lists, this role is for you!
What you will be doing:
- Support territory planning and quota allocation exercises by pulling, organizing, and validating data to assist in alignment with sales strategies and business objectives
- Assist in the execution of global sales commission and crediting processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness, under the guidance of senior team members
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Tech teams to support GTM planning activities and day-to-day operational needs
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, including supporting automation initiatives and helping maintain data integrity across systems
- Collaborate with the Analytics/PMO team by providing data inputs and assisting in the implementation of automation solutions for reporting and operational workflows
- Support the sales forecasting process by helping build and maintain reporting templates that surface meaningful performance insights
- Assist in generating ad-hoc and recurring analyses to support Sales and Leadership decision-making
- Maintain and update process documentation on internal platforms to ensure accuracy, scalability, and continuity
- Respond to rep and stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Here's What You Need:
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-driven or operational role – not exclusive to Sales
- Ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings and progress in a concise manner.
- Experience in Salesforce, Slack & MS Excel; proficient in other Microsoft Office suite of products
- Good understanding of Sales systems and processes.
- Effective communication (i.e., written, verbal and presentation)
- Self-motivated and strong drive to learn how to resolve errors, issues and process gaps.
- Familiarity with an "Order to Cash" process or something similar is preferred
- Ability to navigate the organization and establish relationships with key contacts to solve problems and formulate processes.
- Comfortable working with and presenting to senior leadership, including building consensus, navigating conflicts and challenging the status quo.
- Good project management skills to drive project execution and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Exceptional time management skills and an ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and respond to rep queries while meeting deadlines.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment.
