Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead our Ice Cream Plant operations. You will be responsible for end-to-end production, quality, safety, and team management to meet daily targets with zero compromise on hygiene and taste.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Operations

- Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly production schedule as per sales forecast

- Manage batching, freezing, hardening, packing lines for cups, cones, bricks, kulfi

- Ensure 100% utilization of plant capacity + minimize downtime and wastage

- Monitor CIP, freezer temps, hardening tunnel, cold storage at -25°C

2. Quality & Food Safety

- Implement and maintain FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000 standards

- Conduct in-process checks for overrun, melting rate, texture, Brix





- Coordinate with QC for raw material and finished product release

- Ensure GMP, hygiene, and sanitation compliance on shop floor

3. Cost & Compliance

- Control production cost, RM wastage, power consumption

- Manage inventory of RM, PM, flavors, packaging material

- Maintain all production records, batch cards, and MIS reports

- Ensure factory safety, fire safety, and labor law compliance

Must Have Skills

- Education: B.Sc / M.Sc Dairy Tech, B.Tech Food Tech, or Diploma in Dairy

- Technical: Knowledge of batch freezers, continuous freezers, pasteurizers, homogenizers

- Systems: SAP / ERP, Excel, Production Planning

- Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, can work under pressure in peak summer
