About Kasphyn:
We are building Kasphyn — an EMG + IMU wearable device for reliable fitness enthusiasts. The device reads real-time muscle activation data via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and delivers AI-powered coaching through a React Native mobile app.
What You Will Do (End-to-End Ownership):
- Build and maintain our React Native (Expo) mobile app — screens, navigation, state management, animations
- Implement and debug BLE data streaming from our custom hardware device to the app
- Work with real-time sensor data (EMG + IMU signals) — parsing, filtering, visualization
- Integrate with backend — auth, real-time database, edge functions
- Build data pipelines for our AI coaching layer
- Fix bugs across the stack — firmware-adjacent issues, app crashes, performance bottlenecks
- Ship features fast. We prototype in days, not sprints.
