About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, responsible and ambitious person to join our team.

This is not just a Computer Operator position. We are looking for someone who can handle our day-to-day customer services, has good knowledge of Tamil typing, e-Sevai / online services, and basic banking-related services, and is interested in growing along with the business.

A candidate who performs well, takes responsibility and contributes to the growth of the business will have the opportunity to progress into a Manager position and further leadership roles as the business expands.

Main Requirements

Tamil typing knowledge is essential.

Experience or good knowledge in e-Sevai Maiyam / online government services is highly preferred.

The candidate should also have:

- Good computer and internet knowledge
- Tamil and English typing ability
- Experience with online applications and document uploads
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Willingness to learn new services
- Interest in developing the business, not just completing daily tasks

Key Responsibilities

The role will include:

- e-Sevai and government-related online services
- Tamil and English typing
- PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID and other online applications
- Patta, Chitta, EC and related online services
- TNPSC, RRB, SSC and other exam/job applications
- Xerox, colour Xerox and printouts
- Scanning, lamination and binding




- Passport-size photos and basic document/photo editing
- Bus and flight ticket booking
- Bill payments, mobile/DTH recharge and utility payments
- Banking-related services such as AEPS, money transfer, cash withdrawal, balance enquiry, mini statement and similar services
- Email and WhatsApp document handling
- Customer service and payment collection
- Maintaining basic daily records
- Managing the shop responsibly when required

Business Development

An significant part of this position is helping us develop and grow the business.

The candidate should be willing to occasionally visit nearby areas and approach:

- Schools and colleges
- Offices
- Local businesses and shops
- Institutions and organisations
- Other potential customers

The purpose will be to introduce our services, build relationships, identify new business opportunities and bring new customers to the shop.

Ideal Candidate

We would particularly like to hear from someone who has previously worked in an:

e-Sevai Maiyam, Xerox Centre, Browsing Centre, Online Service Centre or similar customer-service business.

Previous experience is preferred, but candidates with excellent Tamil typing, solid computer knowledge and the right attitude to learn and grow will also be considered.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
