Job Description

Vasal Education is looking for an experienced and result-oriented *Purchase Manager* to manage procurement activities across the organization. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, sourcing, negotiation, purchase planning, and ensuring timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities :

* Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.

* Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.

* Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts.

* Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain proper documentation.

* Coordinate with schools, departments, and vendors to understand procurement requirements.

* Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, stationery, furniture, and other required items.

* Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.

* Monitor vendor performance, quality,



delivery timelines, and compliance.

* Maintain accurate purchase records, MIS reports, and inventory-related documentation.

* Ensure procurement is carried out as per organizational policies and budgets.

Candidate Profile

* Graduate degree in any relevant discipline; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Purchase will be an added advantage.

* *4–6 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.*

* Experience in the *education/school sector* will be preferred.

* Strong negotiation, vendor management, communication, and analytical skills.

* Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.

* Ability to manage multiple requirements and work within deadlines.
