We are looking for a passionate and skilled Music Teacher / Music Facilitator to deliver engaging, age-appropriate music education to Early Years and Primary learners. The ideal candidate should have strong musical knowledge, good classroom management skills, and the ability to create an interactive learning workplace where children can sing, play instruments, create, compose, and develop their musical confidence.

The role involves teaching both vocal and basic instrumental music, developing students’ understanding of rhythm, melody, pitch, tempo, dynamics, and basic music theory. The facilitator will also prepare students for school assemblies, celebrations, concerts, and performances while ensuring that performance preparation does not replace the regular music curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver structured, age-appropriate music lessons.
- Conduct engaging activities involving singing, rhythm, percussion, listening, and musical games.
- Develop learners’ skills in rhythm, melody, singing, notation, composition, and basic instruments.
- Teach age-appropriate vocal techniques and basic instrumental skills.
- Encourage practical music-making through singing, playing, creating, and composing.
- Adapt lessons according to students’ musical abilities, confidence levels,



and learning needs.
- Prepare students for assemblies, celebrations, concerts, and other school performances.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other specialists for meaningful learning connections.
- Maintain and safely manage musical instruments, equipment, and resources.
- Observe and document students’ progress in musical understanding, creativity, participation, singing, and instrumental skills.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree/diploma in Music, Music Education, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience teaching music to children, preferably across Early Years and Primary.
- Proficiency in at least one musical instrument; keyboard/piano or guitar preferred.
- Strong understanding of rhythm, melody, pitch, tempo, dynamics, and basic music theory.
- Ability to teach vocal music, singing techniques, and basic instrumental skills.
- Experience preparing students for school assemblies, concerts, celebrations, and performances.
- Experience in an international, inquiry-based, or IB school would be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
