AI Research Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Research diffusion-based generative models for simulation, defect synthesis, and domain adaptation.
- Develop and train Vision-Language (VLM) and Vision-Language Action (VLA) models.
- Build auto-annotation pipelines using active learning, self-training, and synthetic data.
- Optimize and compress AI models for Jetson-class devices under ROS 2.
- Own the AI lifecycle from research through production hand-off.
- Publish technical reports/papers and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in Deep Learning R&D;, OR MS/PhD in CS, EE, or Robotics.
- Strong knowledge of DDPM, LDM, ControlNet, CLIP, BLIP-2, LLaVA, or Flamingo.
- Experience with active learning, pseudo-labeling, and weak supervision.




- Strong Python and experience with PyTorch/JAX, PyTorch Lightning, DeepSpeed, or Ray.
- Familiarity with TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, CUDA/C++ optimization.
- Robust mathematical foundation in probability, optimization, and information theory.
- Bonus: Experience with Isaac Sim, ROS2, Nav2, MoveIt2, or Open3D.
